Its base powertrain pairs an 82.3 kWh Performance Battery pack with rear-wheel drive. This single-motor setup delivers an impressive 402 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque for a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 143 miles per hour when equipped with summer tires.
All-wheel drive is optional if you need more torque or greater confidence behind the wheel. A 97.0 kWh Performance Battery Plus is also available and pairs with all-wheel drive for a net output of up to 1,019 horsepower and 914 lb-ft of torque, depending on the trim. In the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package, this setup allows you to shoot to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds and reach top speeds of up to 190 miles per hour.
